Aftercare

A full in detail aftercare sheet will be given to you after your fitting of your hair extensions.

Please use sulphate free shampoo and conditioner when washing your hair.

Maintenance is required every 6-8 weeks.

Only wash the extensions for a maximum of 2-3 times a week.

To prevent your hair extensions from knotting while you sleep, your hair should be plaited or tied back in a ponytail.

Never go to bed with your hair extensions damp/ wet.

You should only use a tangle teaser or hair extensions brush.

Never brush the hair when wet.

You can expect to lose up to 10 strands over the 2 months of wear.

You should not wear your hair up too tightly for the first two weeks as this can cause discomfort.

Extensions can be curled, straightened and blow dried just like natural hair, however it is recommended that a heat protection spray is used.

Sun beds are fine as long as a towel is wrapped around the head beforehand.

Avoid chlorine and sea water coming into direct contact with the hair extensions.

Sun can leave your hair extensions dry so apply conditioner and oils regularly.

Be careful not to get tanning oil onto the hair extensions as this can alter the hair shade in some cases.

A human head loses between 70-100 hairs per day therefore some of the hairs that have come loose naturally may be caught in the rings and will be visible at the root. This is perfectly normal.
